The Cyprus Ports Authority held a press conference on 25 January 2024 at the "Pleissis" hall in the Old Port of Limassol during which the work carried out by the outgoing Board of Directors was presented. The account of the Board's activities is recorded in a 244-page detailed report which is posted on the website of the Cyprus Ports Authority and covers the period from the installation of the Board in July 2021 until the expiry of its term of office at the end of January 2024. The Chairman of the Cyprus Ports Authority, Dr. Antonis St. Stylianou, presenting the overall work of the Authority for the period under review, referred to the current data concerning the Authority, recording its achievements, the challenges that the Authority has had and has to face and its prospects in the modern port environment. In essence, the data developed after the commercialisation of the New Port of Limassol in the previous period and the commercialisation of the Port of Larnaca in April 2022 were recorded, highlighting the new, upgraded role of the Authority in the context of supervision and regulation, as well as recording the important operational activities of the Agency.
Highlighting the key facts of the Board's term of office, Dr. Stylianou highlighted the following:

As the outgoing Chairman of the Authority stated."
