[PIO] Official visit of the Slovak Minister of Foreign and European Affairs to Cyprus

The Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia, Mr.Juraj Blanár, will pay an official visit to Cyprus on Thursday, 9 May 2024, following an invitation by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr.

In the framework of the visit, the two Ministers will have a private meeting, followed by extended consultations with the participation of delegations of the two Ministries. At the end of the consultations, the two Ministers will make statements to the media.

The discussions will focus, inter alia, on bilateral relations between Cyprus and Slovakia, the Cyprus problem, as well as a number of other issues of concern to the two countries at European level. The Ministers will also exchange views on current international issues, focusing on the situation in the Middle East and Ukraine. Nikos Christodoulides and will attend the emblematic event marking the 20th anniversary of Cyprus' accession to the European Union.
